GENERAL INFORMATION:

     Prof. Hua Wang currently works as the distinguished professor of Chemistry (Taishan Scholar) at Qufu Normal University, Qufu City, P. R China; Director of Institute of Medicine and Material Applied Technologies; Adjunct Professor and Ph.D supervisor at Harbin Institute University, Harbin City, P. R. China. In 2004, he obtained his Ph.D majoring in Analytical Chemistry at Hunan University, supervised by Prof. Guoli Shen and Prof. Ruqin Yu. He worked as Senior Research Scientist at Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, A*STAR, Singapore (2009-2012); Postdoctoral research associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Washington, USA (2007-2009); Research Assistant at Boise State University, Idaho, USA (2006-2007); Associate professor at Hunan University, P. R. China (2004-2010); He is a member of Sigma Xi in USA, RSC in UK,and Chinese Chemical Society in China. He has been working as the peer reviewer of more than 60 international journals such as Advanced Materials, Green Chemistry,  Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Communications, Advanced Synthesis Catalysis, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Nanoscale, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Scientific Reports, and ACS Applied Materials and Interface.

     Prof. Hua Wang is the group leader of “Taishan Scholar” team, and the supervisor of postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers at Qufu Normal University. His research works mainly focus on the Medical and Environmental Chemo/Biosensors, Organic synthesis, Nanoscaled functional materials, Drug delivery, and Cell regulation. He has authored more than 150 research papers in the world-class journals such as Biomaterials, Green Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Communications, Clinical Chemistry Advanced Synthesis Catalysis, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Nanoscale, and Journal of Materials Chemistry, with total more than 2300 citations (H-index 30). He wrote one chapter of technical book (Elsevier press), and possesses two USA patents and seven Chinese patents issued. He is the PI of three funds of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(Nos. 20775020, 21375075, and 21675099). One of his NNSFC-funding projects was granted “The First Grade Prize for Outstanding Achievements of Scientific Research in Chinese Universities” (Ministry of Education, China, 2008). One of his research works was highlighted by Chemistry world (RSC) titled “Colorful waterproofing for anything” (14 August 2008).
